If you’ve got a VPS or a Dedicated server with cPanel and would like to install Softaculous Apps Installer, here’s what you need to do: First off, you need to install and enable Ioncube Loader for PHP Once you’ve done that, just run the following commands one-by-one by accessing your server through SSH using your root credentials: # wget -N http://files.softaculous.com/install.sh # chmod 755 install.sh # ./install.sh --quick Bingo! That’s all. All your cPanel accounts will now see a new section called Softaculous Apps Installer using which you can install some great web apps using a single click.
If you’d like to customize the apps displayed on Softaculous Apps Installer, you can do it easily. Here’s what you need to do:
That’s it. You will now see the new apps visible under the Softaculous section of your cPanel accounts
