Managing DNS records on cPanel

Its very easy to manage DNS records using cPanel on your Linux Hosting package. But before getting there, make sure that your domain is pointing to your hosting package name servers. If you still haven’t done this, click here to get it done. Once you’ve got that out of the way, you can proceed to manage your DNS records on cPanel. Here’s how you do it:

  1. Login to your cPanel

  2. Scroll down to the Domains section

  3. Click on "Advanced DNS Zone Editor"

  4. Select your domain name from the drop down list

There you go. You will now see all the DNS records of your domain name. You can add, edit, delete the DNS records of your domain name on this page.

Once you make any changes in the DNS, give it about a couple of hours for the changes to reflect globally. This delay is due to DNS propagation.
