Connecting to MS SQL server using Management Studio

If you have a MS-SQL Database and would like to use MS-SQL Server Management Studio 2012, here’s how you connect it.

  1. Open MS-SQL Server 2012 Management Studio

  2. Enter your database server IP address as the Server name (Check the image below to locate your database server IP address from your Plesk Panel)



  3. Select "SQL Server Authentication" as Authentication

  4. Enter your database username

  5. Enter your database password

  6. Click on Connect



That’s it. You’ll now see your database listed on the left of your screen on left of your screen on the Object Explorer. You’re all good to manage your database from there.
