Creating a MySQL database on Linux Hosting

With the help of the amazing MySQL Database Wizard, creating a MySQL database on your Linux Hosting is super easy. Here’s how you do it:

  1. Login to your cPanel


  2. Scroll down to the Databases section

  3. Click on "MySQL Database Wizard"

  4. Set a name for your Database

  5. Click on Next Step

  6. Set a Username & Password for the Database User

  7. Confirm the password

  8. Click on "Create User"

  9. Set the privileges for the Database User (If you’re not sure about what permissions you need to set, we recommend you to set it to All Privileges so that you don’t encounter an error while performing any actions on the database)

  10. Click on "Next Step"


That’s it. Wasn’t that super-quick and super-easy.
