This article will help you add an additional layer of security to prevent unauthorized transfer of your domain name. Let’s begin:

Login to your account

You will now see a page with all purchases made by you on our system

Click on the domain name for which you want to enable theft protection

In the Domain Registration section, click on "Theft Protection"

Select Enable and click on Update Theft Protection Status
Give it about an hour or two for the changes to be updated, post which you should see the status of domain as ‘clientTransferProhibited’ on the Whois. This means the lock has been placed and your domain name is safe from unauthorized transfers.
