Donuts Registry has informed us that effective May 18th, 2018, new .PLACE registrations will be temporarily halted until further notice.
The Registry is doing so to implement eligibility requirements for all new registrations for .PLACE after this date. Unfortunately there is no definite timeline that the Registry has shared with us.
Important points to note
The check availability response will be 'Unknown'. This will remain in place until the TLD is switched back on by the Registry at a future date, yet to be determined.
Renewals and transfers will continue to work as usual.
