Emergency Password Policy Update on our Windows Shared Hosting Servers Posted by on 10 November 2014 07:06 PM
We identified a security threat on our infrastructure caused due to weak passwords being used. Hence, we are implementing strong password policy across all Windows Plesk servers. This will be in effect from Wednesday, November 12th 2014. Password Requirements : A min of 8 characters and a max of 15 characters - No space,quotes or national alphabet character - Atleast 1 CAPS, 2 digits and 2 special characters - Allowed Special Characters ~ @ # $ % & * _ + ! ? This will not make any impact on the current password. Do ensure that the password requirements are satisfied while updating the mail account, FTP account or user password.
