All file names that begin with (dot) such as (.htaccess) are treated as hidden files. To make them accessible, you need to follow 4 easy steps and it won’t even take a minute. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Login to your cPanel.
   
   
2. Under Files section, click on File manager.
   
   
3. You will see a window pop up for directory selection.
   
   
4. Tick the box for “Show hidden files(dotfiles)”.
   
   
   

That’s it. Your preference has been saved. Go ahead and select the directory that you would like to view and access the hidden file.
