If you’re going on a vacation or going to be away from your emails for a while, you may want to setup an autoresponder to reply to your email with a pre-defined message. Here’s how you set it up:
- Login to Plesk Panel.
- Click on Mail.
- From the list of email addresses, click on the email for which you want to set the Auto responder.
- Click on Auto-Reply tabfrom the menu.
- Tick the box for ‘Switch on auto-reply’.
- Set a Subject for the auto responder.
- Select the Message format.
- Type in the content for the auto response under Message Text.
- Under Forwards, type in an email address if you would like to forward the original message sent to you to someone else.
- Set the number of times an auto reply should be sent to unique email address.
- Incase you want to send an attachment, click on Browse to select the file from your computer.
- Click OK.
That’s it, the autoresponder will now inform people that you can't reply to your emails for sometime.
