Clearing your Web browser cache

7 out of 10 times browsers show you a cached(stored) webpage which could be incorrect. Clearing cache and cookies will help you to fetch the current result. Here’s how you do it:

For Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome browser.
  2. Press ‘CTRL+Shift+Del’
  3. You will see a small window with options on the screen.
  4. Select the duration, for clearing the cache and cookies as per your choice.
  5. We recommend you check the boxes for the following:
    1. Browsing history.
    2. Cookies and other site and plug-in data.
    3. Cached images and files.
  6. Click on Clear browsing data.


For Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox browser.
  2. Press ‘CTRL+Shift+Del’
  3. You will see a small window with options on the screen.
  4. Select the time range to clear as per your choice.
  5. Under details, we recommend you check the boxes for the following:
    1. Browsing & Download history.
    2. Cookies
    3. Cache
  6. Click on Clear now.

For Apple Safari:

  1. Open Apple Safari browser.
  2. Press ‘CTRL+ALT+E’
  3. You will see a pop-up box, click on Empty to delete cache.
  4. To delete cookies, Click on Edit > Preferences.
  5. Select the Security tab, click on Show cookies.
  6. Click on Remove All.


For Internet Explorer:

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Press ‘CTRL+Shift+Del’
  3. You will see a small window with options on the screen.
  4. Select the time range to clear as per your choice.
  5. Under details, we recommend you check the boxes for the following:
    1. Preserve Favorites website data
    2. Temporary Internet files
    3. Cookies
    4. History
  6. Click on Delete.
